Numlock toets numeriek toetsenbord.
Mint Xfce
Bij het opstarten is de numlock toets van het numerieke toetsenbord niet aktief.
Met behulp van het programma numlockx kan men de toestand van de numlock toets zelf bepalen.
Installeer het programma in een terminal venster. (commando: sudo apt install numlockx)

Na de installatie van het programma, kan men de instelling doen in de Session and Startup app in het Settings menu. Zie volgende figuur:
De instelling Activate numlock staat in de Settings tab.
Als de computer terug opgestart wordt, zal de nieuwe instelling aktief zijn.

Na de installatie van het programma, kan men de instelling doen in de Session and Startup app.
De Session and Startup app vindt je in het Control center. Zie volgende figuur:

kubuntu
In de KDE desktop omgeving is reeds een instelling voorzien om de numlock in te stellen.
Start de Systeeminstellingen app:
Kies Invoegapparaten, tab Hardware en instelling Numlock bij plasma start
Als de computer terug opgestart wordt, zal de nieuwe instelling aktief zijn.
